Axe Anarchy - A scent for His and Hers Launch

For the man’s man, only a few things on this earth can prove as exciting as the thrill of the hunt. Axe pumps up the pleasure of the predator-and-prey pursuit with the Axe Anarchy Raid, the metro’s hottest game of cops-and-robbers that features 100 of the Philippines’ sexiest  ladies chasing a hundred ordinary guys for a two million peso cash prize, to be held on June 9 at Eastwood Plaza, Libis.

The Axe Anarchy Raid is open to all men of legal age who are bold enough to be part of the 100 contenders. Playing the role of robbers, the shortlisted men will be handcuffed and assigned a number. The ladies will play the role of cops and will also be assigned certain numbers each. Braving a host of wild obstacles and challenges, the “cops” must hunt down the “robber” with the same number as hers. The first pair to make a successful arrest will clinch the coveted prize in this no-losers game of fun and adrenaline-filled pursuit.

The explosive event is presented by Axe Anarchy, the first fragrance from Axe for both men and women.  With its stimulating scent that fires up the senses, Axe Anarchy releases uncontrollable appeal in every hunk and babe and takes attraction to a new level.

Give in to the new order of insatiable attraction. Try out the new Axe Anarchy and join the year’s most exciting high-stakes chase. Check out www.facebook.com/axephilippines for more details and watch out for updates on the list of female celebrities who will enlist in the hunt.

JAMAICAN me crazy

There are days na super down tayo, it maybe because of workload, school stuff, friends or even lovelife. And most of the time, the only way to reverse that feeling by consuming food. Yung mga pagkain na pag nakain natin is super sasaya tayo ulit or we feel an immediate comfort. These are what we call, "comfort food". Based on Wikipedia "Comfort food is food prepared traditionally, that may have a nostalgic or sentimental appeal,[1] or simply provide an easy-to-eat, easy-to-digest meal rich in calories, nutrients[citation needed], or both. Comfort foods may be foods that have a nostalgic element either to an individual or a specific culture. Many comfort foods are flavorful and easily eaten, having soft consistencies."

For some, ang comfort food nila is spaghetti, un iba ice cream, un iba cake. Sakin kasi ang number one comfort food ko is Jamaican Pattie. And I would never miss discussing my comfort food on this blog. My bet is the Royal Carribean's Beef Jerky. Its an empanada like pie that has an extra hot, all-beef juicy ground filling with tomato sauce gravy. I simply love the sweet-tangy-spicy taste of this pattie. I can simply still imagine the crispy-flaky crust (so flaky, that flaky crumbs pieces fall off the pattie). Aside from it's very scrumptious taste, i just also love the fact that it's a food on the go. I can just eat and bring it anywhere. Movie house, office, school, walking around the mall, etc.
The only downside of it is medyo costly. It costs between P45 - P60 depending on what viand ang gusto nyo. They have Beef Supreme, Beef Royale, Beef Supreme, Beef Grenada, Chicken Royale, Cheeze Burst, Cheeze Burst Royale, Cheeze Burst Supreme, Cheeze Burst Jerky.
I so love Jamaican Pattie that i could just seat and eat it the whole day. Plus knowing that I am on a diet (kahit hindi halata and lagi ko sinasabi un) is its all meat. Meaning protein and super little lang ng carb and it is baked kaya super konti lang ng fats. Kaya I love it. This is a must try!!!

Extreme Deals @ North Park

Last May 9, my officemate and I decided to have a late lunch after a client presentation. Of course, libre ng mabait namin na boss ang meal namin. That was around 2:15pm. So we went to Northpark Noodle house along Makati Ave, Makati City. With us are two females and five males including myself. 4 samin nag order ng Extreme Meal. It includes the Ultimate noodles (homemade noodles mixed with Wanton, Pork Ribs, Prawn Dumplings, 3 Kinds Mushrooms, Nanking beef and Tendon), 1 Taipao and 1 iced tea. We were informed by the server that its a big meal. Malaki ang servings. Sabi ko, being a big guy, "hindi ba ako big?" Natawa lang un server. Then nung dumating un food, WHOAH!!! Ang laki nga, i doubt na mauubos ko un order ko. So I tried to consume everything. Pero di ko kinaya. The broth used for the soup is okay. Though you really have to choose what kind of noodles you'll be having for your soup. Kasi some noodles tend to absorb liquids faster. So if habol mo un soup base mismo, you get the whole wheat or the hongkong style. The nanking beef though is a little tough. Pero right texture yung wanton, the breaded pork ribs, the dumplings, mushroom and the tendon.
The service is okay naman. I think it took 25 mins before they were able to serve all our food on our table. The Taipao is okay. A perfect mix of everything (pork meatball, BBQ pork, roast chicken, shiitake mushroom, chinese sausage and salted duck egg). And I love their siopao sauce din.
